LF Forklift & WP Boom Lift over 11 metres

Both LF Forklift and WP Boom over 11 metres training is Nationally Recognised and meet all the relevant competency requirements (LF Forklift; TLILIC108A-Licence to Operate a Forklift Truck and WP Boom; TLILIC508A-Licence to operate a boom-type Elevating Work Platform (Boom length 11m or more).

We offer 2 full days of training for each course with the assessment being undertaken on a third day. Shorter courses require the individual to do more work outside of the training course and lessen the chances of passing your assessment. Workplace Training Centre has excellent pass rates for the High Risk Licence training we offer. Our LF Forklift pass rate is 95% and the WP Boomlift over 11 metres is at 97%.

All our courses are limited to small numbers thereby allowing our trainers more time with each individual. Our trainers also offer extra help for those that may need it and make every effort to ensure our participants are well prepared for their assessment.

What to look for in a Training organisation?

If you are looking for a training organisation to accommodate your company’s training requirements please take into account the following factors before engaging them;

  • Are they the issuing Registered Training Organisation (RTO)? Check the NTIS (National Training Information Service) website www.ntis.gov.au to make sure.
  • Cost versus Quality – No, shorter and cheaper courses will not save you money if your workers do not get the Quality training you and they deserve.
  • Does the training they are offering meet your requirements e.g. is it Nationally Recognised?
  • Ask what the training course involves and what resources are used e.g do they use PowerPoint presentations, handouts, videos, pictures and course manuals OR do they just sit and learn the test questions?
  • Is information regarding their training courses readily available?
  • How many participants will they take for each course? Training companies that allow high numbers of participants on their courses maximize their profits but minimize your practical training time and allow for very little individual attention.
  • Are their training facilities of a high standard and do they have the relevant machinery or equipment to deliver the training to the high quality you expect?
