Course Overview
Through the combination of theory and practical training this course provides the necessary skills
required as per Australian legislation to those who work in or are supervising those working in a Confined Space. The course uses the Resources and Infrastructure and Manufacturing training packages with the aim of providing participants with multiple units that complement each other providing a better defined outcome, and a broader knowledge and skills. The training includes breathing apparatus use.
The Unit of Competence RIIOHS202A has been nominated as the required training for people conducting work in a confined space for Sydney Water.
