Confined Space Training Refresher
Course Overview
This course is designed to maintain knowledge and skills for participants that have previously undertaken training for Working in a Confined space. Participants will be updated with any new regulations, and will be tested for knowledge and competency in both theory and practical applications. As this course assumes prior knowledge course participants may need to have evidence of previously undertaken training.
Course reviews the following:
- Reference documents / legislation
- How to identify a Confined Space as per AS 2865:2009
- Equipment requirements including fall arrestors and PPE
- Hazardous Atmospheres
- Documentation (risk assessments / entry permits / emergency procedures)
- Hazards
- Roles and responsibilities
- Communications
- Atmosphere Monitoring / testing
- First aid appreciation
- Emergency procedures
- Breathing apparatus use (if applicable)
- Practical exercises
- Written Assessment
Outcome
Upon successful completion participants will receive a certificate

The training is conducted at WPTC facilities in Arndell Park. Onsite training is also available. Call or email for further details.
